The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA will be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated sassa status check Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
